Five everyday interruptions: desk flies, fruit bowl flybys, recycling, bin-side and window activity

THE MOMENTS YOU NOTICE

Small flybys can interrupt
a comfortable home

A fly beside your screen, a visitor near the fruit bowl, or movement around a plant pot. These little interruptions happen in different places, often just after you have finished tidying up.

  • At your desk

Small flies cross your line of sight while you work, pulling your attention back to the nearby plant.

  • Around the kitchen

Fruit, food scraps and residues can bring activity into the same corners you are trying to keep clean.

  • Near windows and greenery

You notice flying adults around the glass or pot, then need a practical place to put a trap.

Start by removing spoiled items and cleaning residues. A trap adds a catching surface near remaining activity.

FOUR USEFUL DETAILS

Simple to place
easy to check

Yellow attraction, two sticky faces, a moisture-ready core and a clean grip work together in one soil-insert trap.

A yellow sticky trap surrounded by four practical features: attraction, two-sided capture, support and clean handling

Attract nearby flyers

Yellow visual cues and the slow-release lure design aim to draw flying adults toward the catching surface.

Catch on contact

Adhesive on both faces gives insects a contact surface from either side when the board has open space around it.

Support pot-side placement

A moisture-ready core helps support the board beside damp soil. Direct watering at the soil rather than the adhesive.

Handle the clean grip

The uncoated stake gives your fingers somewhere to hold while you peel the liners, position the board or replace it.

GET BACK TO YOUR DAY

Less swatting
more time to focus

Small flying insects can interrupt your work again and again. Place a sticky trap in a nearby plant pot to catch insects that land on it while you return to your task.

From repeated interruptions

A flying insect crosses your screen. You wave it away, pause your work, and lose your place.

To a simple daily check

Insert the trap into soil and leave the adhesive clear of leaves. Check it regularly and replace it when the surface is covered.

DESIGNED FOR EASY HANDLING

Easy to prepare,
simple to place

Peel off the protective films, hold the glue-free grip, and insert the trap into soil. Adhesive on both sides catches insects that land on it.

Schematic of the peel-away liner, two adhesive faces, firm board core and integral uncoated grip

Peel-off protective films

Protect the adhesive on both sides until the trap is ready to use.

Double-sided adhesive

Catches insects that land on either side of the trap.

Moisture-resistant core

Helps the trap keep its shape near damp potting soil.

Glue-free grip area

Lets you peel and position the trap without touching the adhesive.

Made for Everyday Spaces — yellow sticky traps in plant pots in a home office, kitchen windowsill, living room, reading corner, enclosed balcony, indoor seedling shelves, café plant corner and plant shop care area

Four simple steps

  1. Hold the grip

Keep fingers on the glue-free triangle.

  2. Peel both films

Remove the protective film from each side.

  3. Insert into soil

Push into soil, keeping both sides clear of leaves.

  4. Check and replace

Replace when covered with insects or dust, or no longer sticky.

Keep traps out of reach of children and pets. Avoid pollinator activity and direct splashing. Sticky boards catch contacting adults; they do not treat eggs or larvae.

GOOD QUESTIONS. SIMPLE ANSWERS.

A few things
worth knowing.

Clear answers for placing,
checking and replacing.

How do I set up a Garden Guard trap?

Hold the clean, glue-free triangular grip, peel off the protective covering on both sides, and insert the broad stake directly into potting soil. Leave space around both sticky surfaces.

How do I know when to replace the trap?

Check both sticky surfaces. Replace the trap when insects or dust cover most of the catching area, or when the adhesive is no longer sticky.

Does each trap last for a fixed number of days?

There is no fixed replacement schedule. How long a trap lasts depends on insect activity, dust, humidity and placement. Check it regularly and replace it based on its condition.

Which insects and indoor spaces is it suitable for?

The visual attractant and lure are designed for adult fungus gnats, fruit flies and occasional indoor houseflies that come into contact with the adhesive. Place the trap in an indoor plant pot near insect activity, away from uncovered food, food preparation surfaces and utensils.

How does the trap stay in place?

Insert the broad triangular stake directly into potting soil. Keep the sticky section above the soil and clear of leaves, in a spot where people will not brush against it.

How should I dispose of a used trap?

Hold the glue-free grip and carefully pull the trap out of the soil without touching the adhesive. Do not put used traps into potting soil or home compost. Wrap or bag the used trap if needed, and follow local household waste disposal guidance.

How should I store unused traps?

Do not wash, soak or reuse a used sticky trap. Store unused traps flat with the protective coverings on both sides, away from heat and dust and out of reach of children and pets.

Can I use the traps around children, pets or pollinators?

Keep exposed sticky surfaces out of reach of children and pets, and away from walkways. Do not place traps next to flowers or in areas visited by pollinators. This product is not a toy.
