TIRED OF SWEEPING IT BACK?

Loose sand spreads from a decorative border onto nearby paving. You tidy the edge, only to find more grains outside it later. On miniature terrain, the same loose material leaves a trail around the base.

How Grainora
Binds Sand

Aliphatic waterborne
polyurethane–acrylic system

The binder forms connections between sand particles as it dries and cures.

The core is an aliphatic waterborne polyurethane–acrylic system, chosen for a balance of adhesion, toughness and flexibility.

Binder forms connections at contact points between sand particles.

Hold loose grains

Particle adhesion targets the source of scattering, helping keep sand within the treated area instead of repeatedly sweeping it back.

Balance strength and give

The polyurethane–acrylic system combines toughness with flexibility, supporting resistance to wear without relying on an excessively brittle bond.

Resist water after curing

The cured binder is designed to retain its bond during permitted moisture exposure. This does not mean permanent immersion or universal weather resistance.

Keep the natural finish

Low-sheen film design keeps attention on the sand’s texture, particularly around the small details of model terrain.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

What to know
before you apply

How do I apply Sand Stabilizer?

Check the product label and test a small area of the actual surface first. Support the base and protect nearby details, then apply using the tools and methods specified on the label.

How can I tell when the surface is ready?

Follow all curing conditions on the product label before handling or using the surface; looking dry is not enough. Check the test area for loose grains, tackiness, color and sheen before treating the rest of your project.

Can I use it around foam, paint and scenery?

Check every layer of material, including the sand, paint, foam and nearby scenery. A water-based formula is not compatible with every coating or model material. Test a spare piece first and avoid contact with details you have not checked.

Which projects is it intended for?

It can be used on garden surfaces and miniature landscapes. It is not suitable for vehicle driveways, children’s play sand, pet litter or permanently submerged areas. Before applying, check that the base, aggregate and drainage are suitable for your project.

Will the sand become shiny or change color?

The intended finish is low-sheen, with the mineral texture still visible. Porous or colored materials may still change appearance after treatment.

Can a treated garden surface get wet?

Water resistance refers to the fully cured bond under the product’s specified conditions. It does not turn the surface into a waterproof membrane or replace a suitable base and drainage. Follow the label before exposing the treated area to rain or everyday use.

How do I clean the tools and store the bottle?

Follow the cleanup method on the product label for tools and spills; do not assume that a cured water-based binder can be rinsed off with water. Close the screw cap and store the bottle upright under the specified storage conditions, away from food and children.
